August 09, 2012 SOUTHBRIDGE — Just how big a bus can area residents "stuff" with pens, pencils, erasers, notebooks, and all the items you might find on a schoolteacher's back-to-school supplies list for students?
Basically, as big a bus as you can imagine.
"There's no real bus – it's just a concept," says Lisa Genest, Area Administrator of Catholic Charities, located at 79 Elm St. That concept came about, about three years ago, when then United Way Executive Director Bonnie Losavio, also a member of the Catholic Charities Advisory Committee, approached Genest with a problem – and a suggestion.
