July 19, 2012 SOUTHBRIDGE — Ten-year-old Steven Howe has endured a lot in the last year, including brain-related surgical procedures, radiation and chemotherapy treatments for a rare childhood cancer, and way too many trips to Boston Children's Hospital, frequently on a daily basis.
This week he took one more trip to Boston – this time in a limousine, for an Aerosmith concert and the chance to meet his very own American idol, the band's lead singer, Steven Tyler.
The Tuesday night concert at TD Garden in Boston followed a face-to-face Steven-to-Steven meeting that left the West Street School student aglow with excitement.
